First Round Results
The first Round of the matchplay stages was played on Wednesday 29th May. Congratulations to those who move forward to Round 2 on 5th June.
Hector Anderson Trophy
Club Championship qualifying held on Sunday saw Ben Irving lift the Men’s 36 hole strokeplay with a gross 141. Alan Birdsall and Ben tied on 141, but Ben prevailed after a 3 hole play-off to lift the trophy. Click HERE for the results. Ben is pictured receiving the trophy from vice captain Steven Kirkpatrick.

In the over 50’s, Davie Jardine was successful with a solid 73 to claim the strokeplay title and in the over 60’s Eric Henderson shot a 79 to claim the top prize. Past captain Paul Cruickshank presented both David and Eric with their respective trophies.

James King
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James King on 20th May 2024 aged 60 years after a short illness.
James has been a member at the County for 43 years and his passing will be mourned by his playing partners and friends at the club.

Week 3 – view from the bay foundations. 3 green complexes now visable with a 4th going into the banking beside the oak tree 130 yards out. Really starting to take shape. Great work from Oakbank Plant to this stage. Artificial green work will commence in the next fortnight and bay construction in coming week – 10 days.
